2) Vitamin C intake

4) Custard Apple
Custard apples can be used to cure TB as they are known to contain qualities of a rejuvenating drug. In order to use the fruit to its full potential, the pulp of two custard apples and 25 seedless raisins should be boiled in water, filtered until a third is left in the pot and then mix in two teaspoons of powdered sugar and a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon and cardamom.
Indian Gooseberry is known to be rich in vitamin C, which is used to cure a variety of ailments, including tuberculosis. To treat TB, one tablespoon of fresh Indian gooseberry juice should be mixed with one tablespoon of honey and eight ounces of water. The patient should take this solution every morning and would notice it taking effect within a few days itself.
6) Drumstick leaves
Another herb which is considered to effective in the cure of TB is drumstick leaves. The leaves should be made into a soup by boiling a handful of drumstick leaves in 200 ml of water for about five minutes. After the soup cools, lime juice, pepper and salt should be added t it. The patient should consume the soup every morning in an empty stomach.
7) Celery leaves
Celery leaves in the form of juices can also be used a remedy for TB. In order to extract the juice, the leaves needs to ground. The patient needs to consume at least four tablespoon of the pure celery juice for the first few days of the treatment. The quantity can be reduced to two tablespoons once the patient notices a difference in his stool.
Mint often acts as detoxifying agents that cleanses the body of side effects from strong TB medications. It is also known to nourish the lungs and strengthen the immunity system. The patient should have a glass of mint juice which has been mixed with two teaspoons of pure malt vinegar, two tablespoons of honey and 150 ml of carrot juice. The solution should be taken at least three times a day.
9. Plantains
Plantain Bananas are rich source of nutrients which will boost the immune system of the TB infected person. Plantains help to reduce the fever and cough caused due to tuberculosis. Make plantain juice and drink at least one glass daily or you can mix one mashed plantain banana with one cup of coconut water, half-cup of yoghurt and one spoon of honey and consume it twice daily to get relief from cough and other symptoms of tuberculosis.
